Department of the Army Personnel Responsibilities

According to AR 385-10, all Department of Army personnel, both military and civilian, must comply with safety and occupational health rules, regulations, and standards.

For example, personnel must maintain and use protective clothing and equipment to ensure protection from potential injury and occupational health hazards.

Personnel also must participate in workplace hazard identification and report unsafe or unhealthful working conditions to their immediate supervisor for appropriate action. Similarly, they should report any occupational injury or suspected occupational illness to ensure adequate treatment and correction of the hazard
