Broken Glass

• Always clean up broken glass immediately
• Protect your hands from broken glass, never pick it up with your bare hands, use:
  • Leather gloves to pick up larger pieces
  • A dustpan or wet paper towels to pick up smaller pieces

• Use puncture-proof containers specifically provided for glassware disposal
• Use appropriate devices such as caddies, carts, or cartons for carrying containers.
