Initial Hazard Training

Employees must be provided with specific information and training concerning hazardous chemicals in their work area. Training must be given at the time of their initial assignment.

Employees must be informed of the following:

Any operations in their work area where hazardous chemicals are present
The location and availability of the written hazard communication program including the list(s) of hazardous
chemicals and MSDSs.
