Open flames and smoking shall not be permitted in flammable
or combustible
liquid storage areas. Materials which react with water shall not be stored in the same room with flammable or combustible liquids. Many flammable and combustible liquid storage areas are protected by automatic sprinklers or water spray systems and hose lines.
