Transport Information

The MSDS should specify the basic shipping classification of the material, such as:

Basic DOT description (e.g., Hazardous Materials Description/Proper Shipping Name, Hazard Class, and Identification Number)
Other DOT requirements (e.g., hazardous substances/reportable quantities, modal restrictions, packaging, labeling, or exemptions)
Classification and descriptions under international transportation regulations.
