Disposal Considerations

Disposal information that is relevant to, and will aid in determining the proper and permissible waste management options should be included in the MSDS.

Examples of permissible waste management options that should be included in the MSDS include:

Disposal
Recycling
Reclamation
Parameters that will enhance or limit the options.

The following information may also be provided:

Classification under applicable laws
Identification
Physical/chemical properties related to disposal options
Advice that the regulation may also apply to empty containers, liners, and rinsate
Advice that the state or local regulations must also be considered.
