Additionally, OSHA requires
employers to make available to affected employees or their representatives copies of the
OSHA Noise Standard. A copy must also be posted in the workplace. It is the employee's responsibility to make proper use of the protective equipment provided by management. It is also the employee's responsibility to observe any rules or regulations in the use of equipment designed to minimize noise exposure. Detailed references to noise, its management, effects, and control can be found in a great many books and periodicals.
