Double-Throw Knife Switch |

| Double-throw knife switches are knife switches that have two energized
(closed or "ON") positions and one open (dead or "OFF") position.
These switches can be mounted vertically so that they are moved up and down, or
horizontally so that they are moved left and right. If switches are mounted vertically,
they must have a locking device (such as a spring-loaded device) that will hold the switch
blades in the open position.
