Reversed Circuit & Equipment Ground

The figure below shows the white (circuit grounded) and green (equipment grounding) conductors reversed. Although it is not considered by OSHA or code terminology to be reversed polarity, a hazard can still exist. In this case, due to the wiring error, the white wire is being used to provide equipment grounding. Under certain conditions, this could be dangerous.
