The Permit-Required Confined
Space Standard is set forth by the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The standard’s requirements are divided
into the two topics listed on the left. The “General Requirements” topic discusses workplace evaluations and other employer requirements. The “Written Program” for permit-required confined spaces identifies the information that employers must include in their written program. All employers who allow employee entry into a permit-required confined space must have a written program. |
