Push Sticks or Blocks |

| A final example of miscellaneous protective equipment is the push
stick or block. The push stick or block may be used when feeding stock into a saw blade.
When it becomes necessary for hands to be close to the blade, the push stick or block may
provide a few inches of safety and prevent a severe injury. A push block which fits over
the fence is shown here.
