Response to emergency, or potential emergency, releases of hazardous
substances is covered by paragraph (q) of the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency
Response standard – 29 CFR 1910.120. This section of the module summarizes the
standard. This section is divided into six topic areas listed on the left. This section is concerned with the responsibilities of the employer that will ensure that personnel are properly trained, supported, and monitored to conduct emergency response operations. |
