Hazardous Location Equipment

For Class III equipment, there is very little difference in the design from Class II. Class III equipment must:

Minimize entrance of fibers and flyings

Prevent the escape of sparks, burning material, or hot metal particles resulting from failure of equipment

Operate at a temperature that will prevent the ignition of fibers accumulated on the equipment.
