Hazardous Location Conditions

Let us quickly review what we have covered thus far.

First, there are three types of hazardous locations:
  • Class I - gas or vapor
  • Class II - dust
  • Class III - fibers and flyings.

Second, we identified two kinds of conditions:

  • Division 1 - normal conditions
  • Division 2 - abnormal conditions.
