This Fixed Extinguishing System section covers the topics listed to the left
and pertains to CFR 1910.160. This standard applies to all fixed extinguishing systems
installed to meet a particular OSHA standard
except for automatic sprinkler systems covered by CFR 1910.159. Certain paragraphs of 1910.160 also apply to fixed systems, not installed to meet a particular OSHA standard, which by their operation may expose employees to possible injury, death, or adverse health consequences caused by the extinguishing agent. |
