Fire Protection Plans - Training & Maintenance |

The employer shall provide training to apprise employees of the fire hazards
and processes to which they are exposed. Upon initial assignment, the employer shall review those parts of the fire prevention plan which each employee must know to protect themselves in the event of an emergency. The written plan shall be kept in the work place and available to the employee. The plan may be communicated orally in establishments with 10 or fewer employees. Equipment and systems installed on heat producing equipment shall be maintained in order to prevent accidental ignition of combustible materials.
