General Requirements - Introduction |

This section contains general requirements essential to providing a safe
means of egress from fire and like emergencies. The section is divided into the three
topics listed on the left. The requirements in this module are minimum requirements. The standards do not prohibit better construction, more exits, or safer conditions than these minimums set forth. These requirements are not intended to apply to exits from vehicles, vessels, or other mobile structures. |
