This section is based on CFR 1910.29. It contains requirements for the
design, construction, and use of mobile work platforms
(including ladder stands but
not including aerial ladders) and rolling (mobile) scaffolds
(towers). As in standard scaffolding, there is a wide variety of materials and design possibilities involved in manually propelled mobile ladders, stands, and scaffolds (towers). No attempt will be made to discuss detailed design criteria at this time. |
