The numerous types of scaffolds
used in the maintenance of buildings and structures are detailed in CFR 1910.28. All of
these have serious potential hazards if not properly constructed and used. This section establishes safety requirements for the construction, operation, maintenance, and use of scaffolds in buildings and structures. Because of the large number of different types of scaffolds available, no attempt will be made here to deal with every unit individually. |
