Land Disposal Restrictions

LDR Notification

 For restricted wastes that do not meet the applicable treatment standards (concentration levels and/or specified technologies ( 40 CFR 268 Subpart D ), generators must send a notice containing the following information with each shipment to the receiving facility.
  • EPA hazardous waste code(s)
  • Applicable treatment standard(s)
  • Manifest number
  • Waste analysis data (if available)

Copies of LDR notices must be retained in the generator's files for at least five years.
