Hazardous Waste Disposal Prohibited Methods

What used to be accepted methods of
hazardous waste disposal are now prohibited. Waste must not be disposed of by evaporation up the hood. Open containers of waste in the hood are in violation of RCRA container management requirements. Some laboratory wastes may be discharged down the drain; but disposal down the drain is regulated by the wastewater treatment facility.
