of Hazardous Waste Empty Containers
40 CFR §261.7 provides relief from RCRA regulations for containers which previously held hazardous waste and are rendered, "RCRA empty", in accordance with the specifications under this section. To date, similar guidance for rendering tanks "RCRA empty" is not available. These determinations should be made by the state or implementing agency on a site specific basis. |
