RCRA Exclusions - Limited Discharges

RCRA regulations generally exempt laboratory wastewater discharges that are less than 1% of the facility's total wastewater flow, or if the toxic wastes in the wastewater are less than 1 ppm where the facility's wastewater enters the treatment or pretreatment system ( 40 CFR 261.3(a)(2)(iv)(e) ).
