Prohibited Discharges - Heat

Heat in amounts which will inhibit biological activity at the POTW is prohibited. In no case may discharges cause the temperature at the POTW to exceed 40 degrees C (104 degrees F), unless specifically approved by the POTW ( 40 CFR §403.5(b)(5) ).
